Lamborghini Aventador is a mid-engined two seater coupe manufactured by the Lamborghini. Launched on 28 February, 2011 at the Geneva Motor Show, this vehicle was designed to replace Lamborghini Murciélago as the new flagship model for Lamborghini. Equipped with a 6.2 L V12 Engine producing 697 HP Aventador is one of the best Lamborghinis ever made. Just like all other Lamborghinis, the Aventador is also named after a fighting bull. Aventador was a bull that fought in the bullring of Zaragoza, Spain in 1993.
Lamborghini Aventador LP 700–4 uses Lamborghini’s new 700 PS (510 kW; 690 bhp) 6.5L 60° V12 engine weighing 235 kg. Known internally as the L539, this engine is Lamborghini’s Second V12 Engine design since 350GT.
It has a single clutch seven speed semi automatic gearbox, built by Graziano Trasmissioni. Despite being single-clutch, gear-shifts take place within 50 milliseconds. The new, electronically controlled, all-wheel drive system has been developed by Swedish company Haldex Traction, which offers better traction and handling capabilities than previous generations.
Interior in the Aventador is much better than the Murciélago. Push Start button is located inside a red frame like “bombs away” in fighter jets. The cabin is easy to understand and operate and the viewability is quite impressive given how low and wide this thing is. The Speedometer is digital and can be customized according to needs of the driver.
