Throughout the years we have seen numerous vehicles come and go from the world’s stage. Some of them actually left a huge hole in the automotive world when their production run were discontinued by their manufacturers for one reason or another. Some were discontinued to do high production costs or poor sales. Others were shut down simply because the manufacturers wanted to take business in a different direction.
The majority of these vehicles are better off forgotten but some of them vehicles have been sorely missed since their dismissal from the automotive market. There are many vehicles we would love to see make a comeback but these are our ten favorite:
10. Acura Integra:
The Acura Integra managed to capture the heart and soul of the Honda Civic and mix it with the perfect amounts of luxury. For over 16 years the Integra managed to become one of the kings of the Sport Compact world with droves of fans supporting the platform long after it was discontinued in 2001. Acura released the RSX in the United States in 2002 and it was also a great car but it never amassed the support and status of the Integra.
In 2006 Acura discontinued the RSX platform and chose not to replace it. Today the brand focuses on competition with Lexus, BMW, and Infiniti instead of provided the compact car market with the vehicle they want quite badly.
9. Chevy Nova:
The Nova is one of those cars like the Camaro, Mustang, and GTO that if you don’t love it — you don’t love America. While every now and then a muscle car will be brought back in an inferior remix or overly redesigned , the Nova is a great chance to give Americans a simple, infinitely customizable muscle car. Give the gearheads freehand again, and watch what happens.
