6. Chevrolet Camaro SS:
This is a great all around performer that brings 426 horsepower to the table with its 6.2 liter V8 engine. The 1SS package is the model to go after if you want to stay under $40,000. The SS manages to hold the second fastest 0 to 60 time on our list at 4.6 seconds. Not too shabby at all. The 1SS enters the market at $33,000 dollars.
5. Nissan 370Z:
The aging 370Z platform has been around for a while now but that doesn’t mean this old timer can’t handle its own by any means. Powered by a 3.7 liter V6 engine the 370z puts 338 horses to the ground through either a manual or automatic transmission. A 0 to 60 time of just over 5 seconds makes the Z car capable of keeping up with just about any of the other cars on the list. The 370Z enters the price bracket at $29,000 dollars but if you feel like haggling with a car salesman go for the $41,00 dollar Nismo model.
